Competition opens 6th April 2024 and ends 20th April 2024, the winner will be hand chosen by our elopement vendor team and will be decided upon the application and love story. The winners will be personally notified and announced on socials on Saturday 27th April 2024. The decision on the winners if final.

Winners must:

6. Be available from the 27th April for a personal meeting with Maple Weddings and Elk and Fir to have you all booked in with all the suppliers for your personal meetings and contract signings.
7. Have your ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ into Your Story Celebrant for lodgement on the agreed date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Responsibility for additional costs outside of the package.
• Non-exchangeability for cash or transferability.
• Couples must be super loved up and gracious kind people.
• Acceptance of Terms: Indicate that entry into the contest constitutes acceptance of these terms.
• Each vendors contracts to be signed

General terms and conditions
1. Eligibility Criteria: Applications are open to ALL couples Worldwide.
2. Entry Requirements: Applications open 6th April 2024. Only one submission per couple. Applications close midnight 20th April 2024. To enter head here - https://elkandfir.com/elopement-giveaway
3. Originality and Copyright: Ownership and copyright of images belongs Elk and Fir Photography, Blue Vale Films and Say I do Social Media.
4. Usage Rights: By entering a competition, you grant the organizing body the right to use these images for promotional purposes. This can include displaying the images on websites, in publications, socials or as part of exhibitions.
5. Judging Process: The winner will be hand picked based on the answers to the questions in the application. Decision is final.
6. Notification of Winners: winners will be notified via a phone call, email and it will be posted on social media and website.
7. Liability and Indemnity: In applying, you indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising from the submission, including all preparation phase with all vendors and the day of the elopement. There will be individual contracts to sign with each vendor.

9. Disqualification: Grounds for disqualification from the competition, such as breach of the rules or unethical behavior is at the discretion of the organisers.
10. Changes to Terms: A statement that the organisers reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions or cancel the competition if necessary at any time.

Your Story Celebrant- T&Cs
2024 Elopement Giveaway Agreement Terms and Conditions
I, Danielle Wildermuth (your celebrant) will keep the agreed date 12 June 2024 and finalised time available for your ceremony in accordance with the following:

1. The agreed starting time will not change without prior consultation with the celebrant.
Marriage ceremonies only - If time is unsuitable and the celebrant has other commitments at the new time, the lodgement & confirmation fee is forfeited and the NOIM will be transferred to another celebrant.

2. In the event the celebrant is unable to attend your ceremony due to illness, accident or other circumstances outside my control every effort will be made to find a replacement celebrant. The celebrant will cover the fees of the replacement celebrant.

Marriage ceremonies only - We understand this will mean it is necessary (by law) for us to show birth certificates and photo ID or passports as well as death/divorce certificates if relevant, to the replacement celebrant.

3. The celebrant will attend a Brisbane based rehearsal prior to ceremony at a mutually convenient time. Should you require rehearsal outside Brisbane additional travel service fee will apply.

4. The celebrant will arrive at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes before the agreed starting time. Please ensure a signing table has been pre-organised as this is not a service inclusion.

5. Elk & Fir Photography are to seek appropriate council approvals / permits for public places. Permit must be sent to celebrant 1 month prior to ceremony for records.

6. The ceremony will not proceed if the celebrant has not sighted all legally required documents prior to the wedding date or, if in the celebrant’s opinion, either of the parties or their witnesses is not in a position to fully understand the legal obligations of the marriage ceremony.

7.The Celebrant reserves the right to postpone/move the ceremony if she deems it unsafe to proceed. (heat, rain, wind etc) or if either party is under the influence of drugs or alcohol in accordance with the legal Marriage Act 1961.

8. In the event of unforeseen extreme / bad weather (rain, wind, storms etc) one of the parties must contact celebrant no later than 2 hours prior to ceremony with contingency plans. If the ceremony is delayed by more than 30 minutes beyond the agreed starting time, the celebrant has the right to leave for another engagement and return at a time convenient to her if the ceremony has not commenced within 30 minutes of the agreed starting time. Additional fees may be incurred.

9. (Not applicable) PA system will not be available in the event of bad weather (rain, wind, storm and/ or where there is a chance of bad weather risking the safety of celebrant, guests and the public.

10. The client is to provide correct and accurate information regarding their identification and eligibility to marry along with their wishes for the ceremony. As a legal requirement, all couples will be asked to complete ‘Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage form’ prior to ceremony day.

11. Elopement giveaway does not include copy of script. However any requested changes one week prior cannot be guaranteed. Celebrant has the right to refuse request should time not permit. Additional fees may be incurred. Full ceremony script spoken must not be or passed onto third parties as these remain as intellectual property of the celebrant and fall under standard copywrite laws.

12. The celebrant has permission to use photographs/videos of our ceremony in promotional activities/ social media.

ADDITIONAL COVID 19 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Your Story Celebrant can offer one complimentary date change subject to availability and to be rescheduled within 12 months of the original booking as a gesture of goodwill in the case of an official government based lockdown, imposed restrictions and/or travel ban prevents the wedding from going ahead this includes ceremonies of 5 people (celebrant, couple and 2 official witnesses).

Any additional COVID-19 related changes after this first gesture of goodwill will fall under the above standard Terms and Conditions. Notification must be made at a minimum 2 weeks prior to your ceremony. Please note any work carried out prior to cancellation notice will not be refunded to include and but not limited to; administration, NOIM submission, correspondence and ceremony preparation work.

Elk and Fir Photography T&Cs
• The Clients and the Photographer consent to happily cooperating and communicating with each other to achieve the best
possible result within the understanding of this contract. It’s a team effort!
• be present, and put their phones away.
• The copyright of photographs remains with the Photographer. The Photographer grants the Clients permission to make copies of the images under the following conditions. The images taken by the Photographer are for personal use by the Clients and their friends and relatives. Sale, Publication or any Commercial use of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission from the Photographer. If the Clients want to submit the photos to any wedding blogs/magazines/print media/etc, then written permission must first be obtained from the Photographer.
• The Clients grant the Photographer the irrevocable and unlimited consent to use the photographs of the Clients for editorial, competition, advertising and any other purpose and in any manner, to alter the photographs without restriction; and to copyright the images. This means that the Photographer will be able to use the pictures however she wishes, on any social media/online/print media.
• If a photographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the wedding services specified above the Photographer will book a replacement wedding photographer.
• The Photographer has working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to your images.
However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons in or beyond our control
• Photos will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of the elopement date, via online gallery, from which you can download your images in High Resolution.
• The photos shall be kept for 6 months after the wedding. It is the Clients’ responsibility to back up and protect their photos immediately after receiving them. It is recommended to back up to 3 different locations (a USB stick, a laptop, and a portable hard drive, for example)
• The photos from the Photographer will be at a standard consistent with previous work, listed on www.elkandfir.com. Every effort is taken to ensure the best possible results from the day. The style of your wedding, and the ‘vibe’ will both affect the photos from any particular wedding, so please keep in mind that all weddings will look different.


Blue Vale Films T&Cs
•It is agreed that the following terms and conditions below set out a complete agreement between Blue Vale Films and you, %client_name% the Client/s, and that no variation or modification will be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing. Please retain a copy of the Terms and Conditions for your records. By accepting the terms and conditions you acknowledge that you are at least eighteen years of age, the legal age to form a binding contract.

Booking
 As my commitment to you, all other work will be declined for that day. By signing this contract you agree to all Terms and Conditions.

Packages
The coverage time included with the 'Elopement' film package are consecutive and begin when Blue Vale Films arrives at the first location.
A cinematic highlight film is defined as a short film consisting of multiple short clips to form an overview of the wedding day. The ‘Elopement Package’ is edited to one song only and includes audio snippets from the ceremony.

bloom and bush T&CS
• Final design and colour palette to be chosen by Bloom & Bush and is subject to seasonal availability (let it be a wonderful surprise!)
• Designs will be in our signature garden design using seasonal garden blooms and foliages sourced locally wherever possible
• Designs will be foam free with all vases, vessels and stands provided with complimentary use on the day. These will be collected the following day.
• Bouquet and buttonhole are yours to keep. All other flowers will be collected the following day
• Bouquet and buttonhole delivered to Goodwater Ridge on the day of
• Not redeemable for cash or transferable to others or another date

Zo and Co Cakes T&Cs
• Design must be confirmed by 3 weeks prior to the wedding date and no changes can be made after that point.
• Budget may be supplemented by winners and additional payments are due by 3 weeks prior to the wedding.
• A tasting is not included but may be added to the design consultation at couples expense. Tastings are $30 and would include the 5 main options.
